Description - Description: The purpose of this project is to justify, define and assess the works required for the energy renovation of the Alicante I Desalination Plant. The works consist mainly of the installation of a photovoltaic system, which will reduce elec tricity consumption by using the renewable energy produced by the new installation for self-consumption. This action will reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere from the Alicante I Desalination Plant, in line with the main objective of the Mancomunidad's strategic plan 2019-2030, to reduce the Agency's carbon footprint by 40% by 2030.
