The Natura 2000 area is listed as a SPA area. A nature reserve has been established from the Tuomiojà ¤rvi Natura-2000 area. In terms of species, Tuomiojärvi is the most representative bird water in the province.In the project, it is planned to build a new foundation dam on the upstream side of the existing dam and to dismantle the current regulating dam in the riverbed.
