II IT Una is one of the 20 HITS being set up. funded and managed by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt, of India under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The partners setting up HIT Una are the Ministry of Education, Govt, of India, the Govt, of Himachal Pradesh. HP Power Corporation Limited and HP Transmission Corporation Limited. Admissions to the undergraduate programs in the Institute are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
At present, HIT Una operates from its permanent campus at Saloh, Una. The campus is fully furnished and working full-fledged from its permanent campus.
We solicit your quotations for providing the catering services for the special dinner during the various events at HIT Una as per the terms and conditions of the RFQ.
The menu is given in Table-A in the Annexure-I and the price shall be quoted as per the format given in Table-B in the Annexure-I along with the vendor details not later than 23, Aug’23.
General Terms and Conditions:
1. Quotations may be submitted on or before 05:00 pm 23, Aug’23, at the Office of Registrar, HIT Una, Saloh, (H.p.) Pin-177209.
2. Kindly ensure that the quotations are signed & stamped on the firm letterhead. The bidder has to provide contact details on the top of the envelope.
3. HIT Una reserves the right to reject prospective quotations without assigning any reason.
4. The bidders must have registered shop/firm/company.
5. Payment will be made after successful completion of the services in HIT Una. Saloh. No request for advance payment shall be entertained. Rate of meals will be valid for one year from the last dale of submission of bids with minimum order quantity of 50 meals.
6. Kitchen equipments shall be provided by the institute. The vendor has to take over the kitchen equipment from the institute for the said period. The vendor is requested to check the kitchen equipments before taking over. The vendor may visit the Kitchen location, if required before quoting. For any malfunctioning in the equipment after takeover, the vendor has to bear the service charge.
7. The dinner crockery will be in the scope of the vendor. The crockery items having ceramic plates, small bowls for raita/sweet dish, large steel spoon, serving bowls with spoons, Clear glass, tissue paper with holder, water jugs, and other auxiliary items.
8. Institute will provide only available kitchen equipments. No kitchen equipment will be given on request basis except the available ones.
9. LPG Cylinder, buffet table, utensils in all respect, is in the scope of the vendor.
10. Dining area is available in the institute. The cleaning and waste disposal is in the scope of the vendor. The food will be served in the buffet system, table serving is only for the institute special guests.
11. The rate shall be inclusive of catering charges in all respects, transportation and G.S.T.
12. The location for providing service is Ground Floor, Dhatvagni Transit House, HIT Una.
13. The bidder who quotes a lowest amount of the services shall be considered for further preceding.
14. The rates must be quoted as per minimum requirements of the meals.
15. Any quotations submitted after the specified time and with incomplete information will not be acknowledged.
16. The bidder should have the bank account in the name of the firm.
17. The vendor already in contractual terms with the institute is not eligible for bidding.
