QUOTATION NOTIFICATION
It is hereby notified that, sealed quotations are called for by the undersigned
for disposal of time barred judicial records/ out dated forms, old newspapers,
magazines, old file boards, old card board bindings and other waste papers of this
office. Those persons who are interested may submit their sealed quotations
"ON OR BEFORE 01.07.2024 AT 4.30 P.M." furnishing their highest rate per
kilogram offered for purchase of said old papers, for consideration.
The disposal of aforesaid time barred judicial records/ out dated forms,
old newspapers, magazines, old file boards, old card board bindings and
other waste papers of this office is subject to the following terms and
conditions:
1 The Bidder shall quote their highest rate per kilogram for purchase of time
barred judicial records/ out dated forms, old newspapers, magazines, old
file boards, old card board bindings and other waste papers of this office.
The sealed quotes shall be superscribed as “QUOTATIONS FOR
PURCHASE OF WASTE/SCRAP, UNSERVICEABLE BOOKS.”
2 EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD): Each quotationer shall pay
`10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) as Earnest Money Deposit in the
form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar General, High
Court of Karnataka” payable at Bengaluru. The quotation without the
EMD would be rejected outright.
3 Quotation document may be obtained by paying Rs.100/- in HCA– I
branch and submission of receipt obtained thereof in HCA-II Branch of
this Office.
4 The EMD will be refunded to those quotationers, whose quotations are not
accepted.
5 The quotations will be opened by the quotations inviting authority, on
02.07.2024 at 12.30 P.M.

6 The successful bidder shall make arrangements to bundle up all the
aforesaid time barred Judicial records/ out dated forms, old newspapers,
magazines, old file boards, old card board bindings and other waste papers
of this office, at his own cost, immediately after receipt of intimation from
this Office.
7 The successful bidder shall make the full payment of the cost of entire lot of
aforesaid time barred Judicial records/ out dated forms, old newspapers,
magazines, old file boards, old card board bindings and other waste papers
of this office put to weight along with the tax applicable and make the
payment according to the weight arrived at, before lifting and shall make
arrangement to shift the same at his cost on the day to be fixed by this
office.
8 The weighment shall be made in the Electronic weighing machine of this
Office, in the High Court Premises.
9 Rate Contract will be made with successful bidder for a period of one year
from the date of acceptance of rate by this Office on per kg. basis and the
successful bidder will be permitted to collect the time barred Judicial
records/ out dated forms, old newspapers, magazines, old file boards, old
card board bindings and other waste papers of this office referred above on
rate contract firstly within one week from the date of intimation letter
issued by this office, secondly on completion of 6 months and thirdly
before completion of one year.
10 In case of successful bidder’s failure to adhere to condition Nos.6, 7 & 8 at
above, the EMD shall be forfeited to the Government and the loss, if any,
incurred for re-tender, shall be liable to be borne by the quotationers.
11 The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject the quotation without
assigning any reasons.
