The scope of work consists of Clearing & grubbing roadand, filling the pot holes, fixing reflective road studs, road marking, OHM boards, fixingretro-reflectorised ceramic tiles, Construction of RCC railing (damaged portion) and painting,etc.

4. Estimate amount - Rs. 1.49 lakhs (Approx., excluding 18%GST)

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
1. Printed quotation form scan be obtained from the office of the under signed and websiteof RBDCK. Quotations submitted not in such printed forms or tenders, incomplete inany respect such as unattested errors and corrections etc. will be liable for summaryrejection.
2. Those who wish to participate in the quotation, should fill in the price bid and submitthe signed quotation document along with a copy of the photo identity card in a sealedenvelope to RBDCK before the specified time. "Quotation for Repair &Maintenance work of Payyanur ROB in Kannur District" and do not open before28.05.2024 at 11:30 AM” should be written on the outside of the cover.
3. No quotations received after the specified last date and time will be accepted on anyaccount.
4. Details of the work with item wise specifications are given in the subjoined schedule ofwork. Bidders must quote only a single rate against each item in the Schedule. The ratesquoted shall be inclusive ones covering all the operations contemplated in the scheduleof works and all incidental works necessary for such operations. The rate quoted shallnot be varied on any account whatever and it shall hold good for all items of work done,irrespective of variations of quantity if any.
5. Each Bidder should submit along with the quotation a signed copy of document alongwith copy of ID proof.
6. The acceptance of the quotation rests with the officer inviting tenders who does notundertake to accept the lowest or any particular quotation.
7. The quantities shown in the schedule are only approximate and are subject to variationand if found necessary the contractor is bound to do additional quantities up to 25%above estimate quantities of each item of work at his quoted rate. If any extra items ofwork not included in the schedule are executed, its rates will be arrived at on the basisof the rules followed in Kerala PWD.
8. Time is the essence of the contract. The work shall be completed within 20 days fromthe date of receipt of written order to commence the work.
9. Contractor shall be solely responsible for any damages occurring to the existing road orany other structures due to this work.
10. Contractor shall appoint qualified engineering representative at site to supervise thework.
11. The rates quoted by the Contractor shall be deemed to be inclusive of the Sales &othertaxes including octroi on all materials that the Contractor will have to purchase for
performance of this Contract, BUT EXCLUDING GST @ 18% or as decided by theGovernment from time to time which will be paid in addition to the quoted rates.
12. The Defects liability period for the works is 06 months from the date of completion ofthe work.
13. The successful bidder shall deposit performance security for an amount equivalent to3% of the quoted price before executing agreement.
14. In addition to Performance Security, retention money will be deducted from therunning/ final bill of the contractor @ 2.5% of the gross amount of each running bill andsame shall be released after expiry of defect liability period.
