TENDER NOTICE
Sealed Tenders are invited in the prescribed proforma from the
interested persons / organizations for out-sourcing contract for Sweeping, Cleaning
& Gardening Maintenance of TSRTC Hospital complex, Nursing and Vocational
Jr.College, Tarnaka, Hyderabad for a period of 2 (Two) years. The Contractor shall
deploy E.80 workmen (E.4 Skilled ie 3 Plumbers plus one supervisor, E.67 Unskilled
and E.9 Safai Karmacharis) for the work per day in three shifts. The Minimum value
of the work contract is 16,34,521/- per month (Minimum wages to be paid + PF +
ESI + EDLIF and Administrative charges thereon + 7% profit margin of the
contract + 18% GST). The approximate Material cost details are also enclosed with
Tender conditions.
Prescribed Tender Forms together with the Terms & Conditions can be had
from the Office of the Superintendent & CMO, TSRTC Hospital, Tarnaka,
Hyderabad-7 on payment of Rs.2950/- (Rs.2,500/- cost of Tender Form +
Rs.450/- GST @ 18%) between 09.30 AM to 04-00 PM from 17-08-2023 to
30-08-2023 on all working days and in Saturdays from 09.30 AM to 01.30
PM.
Tender Forms duly filled in all respects together with the Demand Draft for
an amount of Rs.9,80,713/- (Rupees Nine Lakhs Eighty Thousand Seven Hundred
and Thirteen only) towards Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) drawn in favour of
"TSRTC, HYDERABAD" in a sealed cover should be dropped into the Tender Box on
31.08.2023 upto 14-00 hrs provided at the Conference Hall of
TSRTC Hospital, Tarnaka, Hyderabad.
The Tenders box will be opened at 15-00 hrs, on the same day ie,
31.08.2023 in the Conference Hall of TSRTC Hospital, Tarnaka in the presence
of Tenderers or their authorized representatives.
The Tenders received after due date and time or Tenders not accompanied
with the Demand Draft for requisite EMD amount or EMD amount being paid is
less than Rs.9,80,713/- or Tenders in the name of minors will not be accepted.
The EMD amount will not carry any interest.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SWEEPING, CLEANING & GARDEN MAINTENANCE
OF TSRTC HOSPITAL, NURSING AND VOCATIONA JR.COLLEGE AT TARNAKA,
HYDERABAD.
(a)The maintenance of contract area includes sweeping, swabbing and
cleaning of hospital (in-patient wards and out-patient blocks Ground, 1
st &
2
nd floors) Nursing & Vocational colleges, Nursing college hostel, bath rooms,
varandhas, spittoons, dustbins, washing and cleaning of covered area in the
toilets including lavatories, urinals, wash basins and other passages including
stair cases, open yard and maintenance of gardening, sewerage pipes,
marble stones regularly with 2 hours interval and swabbing with wet cloth
and area around wash basin, mirrors and remaining floor area of toilets every
day including public holidays.

(b)Standard quality of detergents, disinfectants and naphthalene balls should
be used for the sweeping, swabbing and cleaning. The Contractor/firm to
check bathrooms, lavatories every half an hour daily.
(c)Removing of cob-webs, bird droppings, spit marks on walls and floor or
any other material constituting as debris, cleaning of floor, glasses, windows
door and fixtures with cloth daily.
(d)Materials like room fresheners, gadgets, brooms, buckets, brushes,
phenyl, detergents, dis-infectants etc, required for the work shall be
procured by the contractor/firm at his own cost. The contractor/firm has to
make his own arrangement for keeping his belongings like buckets, brooms
and other cleaning co nsumables. The rubbish removed from the toilets shall
be carried and disposed off by the contractor at a far off place or place shown
by the licensor.
(f) WEEKLY SERVICES:-
The deep cleaning of the entire area will be done by the contractor once in a
week as under:
1. Dusting of entire area including windows / windowpanes / doors / ledges,
etc.
2. Thorough cleaning / sweeping / washing / mopping with disinfectant.
Cleaning of all floors, staircases and toilets, scrubbing of all floors and
ceramic tiles base. Cleaning of ceiling and high walls, removal of wash
stains on walls, cleaning of roofs, porches etc.
3. Cleaning of sanitary fitting, toilet drain pipes etc., in the toilets with
standard cleaning material.
4. Cleaning of all window glasses and grill with detergent / cleaning agents.
5. Washing of outside area with High Pressure Jet Machine.
6. Cleaning of all chrome fitting, glass frames, soap holders etc. to a shiny
finish.
7. The tenderer will make a cleaning program and submit to Medical.Admin
TSRTC Hospital for weekly cleaning so that TSRTC Hospital concerned
official / In-charge for the particular area can be deputed on the day of
cleaning to make the area available and supervise the cleaning work.
8. The contractor will work in the specified area mentioned in the scope of
work.

(g) ADDITIONAL SCOPE PERTAINING TO HOSPITAL:-
1. PATIENT ROOM:-
The contractor shall be responsible for routine cleaning of the patient
room ward every day in the morning and evening. The contractor shall
also maintain cleanliness in the patient room / ward through out the day
and shall clean the room thoroughly on patient’s discharge and keep it
ready for the next arrival.
2. Housekeeping in the hospital conditions is different than the housekeeping
services in other commercial organization. Housekeeping staff has to work
with the infected patients and has to handle infected materials and waste.

to show his / her humanitarian concern towards the patient and provide
