In commemoration of the victims of the Khmer Rouge regime, which governed Cambodia from 1975 to 1979, two events will be organized in April and May at Siem Reap and Battambang province (one day each), as part of the 50th anniversary o f the National Day of Remembrance 2025. The events will serve as vehicles for powerful messaging and aim to reach new audiences, including the younger generation, and spark meaningful conversations about the past and its lessons for the future. 2.The events seek to: • Honor the memory of victims and historical events. • Disseminate information about the Extraordinary Chamber in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) and provide access to its archives
