Description - Description: The subject of this tender is the provision of a project manager to work on the European joint project E-ASAP. E-ASAP is a sub-project within EUMETNET for carrying out aerological vertical soundings at sea with a focus on the North Atlan tic. A total of 16 aerological ship stations are operated, eight of which are directly operated by the German Weather Service (DWD). Within the 31 European weather services organized in the EUMETNET network, the DWD has assumed responsibility for E-ASAP for the phase 2024 - 2028. The overall coordination of all 16 ship stations is carried out by the project manager, who acts on behalf of and with the active support of the German Weather Service.n
