Description - Description: Department B4.3 operates seismological measuring stations throughout Germany. The Gräfenberg Array consists of 13 seismological stations spread over an area of ​​almost 5000 km2 in the Franconian Alb region between Pottenstein and I ngolstadt (see map of the stations). Of these, 12 stations are almost identical cylindrical vaults with a diameter of 2 m and depths between 2 and 5 m, installed in the field (outdoor area) and accessible via ladders.
