Description - Description: OBJECT OF PENDING PROCUREMENTThe subject of the procurement being prepared is a 2.4 meter high rate thickener for the dewatering of mineral materials for the GTK Mintec pilot plant in Outokumpu. The pilot plant's inputs (ores) vary widel y. Concentrates and tailings are deposited with the thickener. For this thickener, the emphasis is on tailings and the maximum capacity is 1500 kg/h of dry matter. The density of the solid matter of the deposited materials (tailings) ranges from SG 2.6 to 3.0. The appendix "Examples of grain size distributions" contains examples. The extreme limits for the pH of the sludge are 2.0 – 12.0 and the temperature max +60C. The usual pH range is 8-11.
