Description - Description It is planned to renovate the second section of the retaining wall along Suicardusstrasse on the banks of the castle in Aschaffenurg (south section). The north section has already been completed. The retaining wall is a listed sandstone g ravity wall. The length of the section to be renovated is approx. 200 m. The wall height ranges from approx. 1m to 5.5m. The wall thickness varies and must be determined by core drilling. The service includes replacing defective stones (particularly in the masonry crown), cleaning and repointing the wall, creating nesting holes and creating drainage openings.
