Description - Description: The Laeiszhalle was donated by the shipping couple Carl and Sophie Laeisz and built by the architects M. Haller and W.E. Meerwein in the neo-baroque style between 1904 and 1908. The external design elements were clinker brickwork with ri ch sandstone ornaments in keeping with the turn of the century.
