Description - Description: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source Purchase Order with Mark C. Pope Association for five shock- and vibration-reinforced Hobart 2400 units. The Government intends to make an award prior to the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2025. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Mark C. Pope Associates, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy’s requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract modifications are for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(2)(b).
