Description - Description: Alva companies have approx. 5,250 district heating and cooling meters in their district heating network, the remote reading of which is mostly implemented with 2G/3G modems, which are connected to the heat energy meter with a wired M-bus connection. As a result of the 2G shutdown, Alva companies will replace most of their meters in the next few years. About 300 of the heat energy meters work in the Nb-Iot network without a separate modem.
