Description - Description: CosiWeb2 is a web-based database and analysis application for oil forensic investigations of mineral oil products from marine pollution and their potential perpetrators. The application processes data from chemical analyses, which in the ir entirety represent a chemical fingerprint of mineral oil products. This data is used as forensic evidence in police investigations to identify the perpetrator. The procedure is currently based on the European directive CEN-TR 15522-2 (2012).
