Description - Description: Isavia ANS is responsible for one of the largest airspaces in the world, covering 5.4 million square kilometres; and is looking to upgrade its Flight Data Processing System (FDPS) and Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems. The current ATM system covers both oceanic and continental enroute and is interoperable with Approach (APP) and other 3rd party applications. The current enroute (ENR) system was originally bought from Canadian Aviation Electronics (CAE Inc) after which Isavia ANS was given full access to the software code and given rights to make updates – making it independent from the manufacturer.
