Description - In response to the passage of House Bill (HB) 718, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is tasked with phasing out the currently used temporary paper license plates by 2025 and replacing them with metal plates in order to better combat and deter fraud. As part of this RFI, TxDMV is requesting responses be submitted that propose a statewide distribution model that ensures metal plates produced at our production facility in Huntsville are securely distributed to every county and vehicle dealership across the state.
