Description - Description: The aim of the research project is to determine the biomass potential along the rail transport areas that accrue as a result of the cyclical vegetation pruning and to carry out a quantitative and qualitative evaluation with regard to the potential use or further utilization of the resulting green waste. Furthermore, a cost-benefit assessment is to be carried out with regard to possible utilization paths and the contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is to be estimated using energy balances or climate balances.
