Description - Description: The Kainuu Ely Centre is purchasing machinery for the restoration of the bogs of the Heinälampensuo protected area in Kalmomäki, Sotkamo. The procurement includes clearing ditch lines, damming and blocking ditches, and restoring old st ream beds using excavators. All work is expected to be completed during 2025. The procurement also includes the materials needed for the restoration work, such as filter fabrics.There is approximately 5,650m of ditch to be blocked, which must be cleared of trees before filling.
