Description - Description: The Helmi habitat programme restores degraded or endangered habitats in five different themes. One of the themes is small waters, which include stream habitat types that are endangered, especially in southern Finland, due to land use and environmental change. This work is being carried out as part of the small water theme of the Helmi habitat programme implemented by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Southwest Finland.
