Description - Description: The outdoor area around the Deutsches Museum is part of the Isarauen nature reserve. In this area is the sea rescue cruiser Theodor Heuss, built in 1960, which was handed over to the Deutsches Museum in 1987 as an exhibit to document the history of shipping. The ship is 23.2 m long and measures 5.3 m at its widest point. The deck is accessible via a jetty from the aerospace terrace.
