Description - Description: 1. PROJECT OVERVIEW. Brunswick County is soliciting sealed proposals for removal and disposal of lime residuals generated at the Brunswick County 211 Water Treatment Plant located at 4305 Southport-Supply Road SE, Southport, NC 28461 (th e “WTP”). Lime residuals are a byproduct of the lime softening process utilized in the production of potable water and have been concentrated through settling ponds and drying beds. These residuals are typically a 50-75% cake solid and have been classified as “Beneficial Fill” by the NC Division of Waste Management Environmental Compliance Branch.
