Commissioned in 1995, most of the facility retains its original HVAC and controls infrastructure, which are now at the end of their service life and require replacement.In collaboration with BC Hydro, IH conducted a study to explore options for replacing the outdated HVAC infrastructure with more energy-efficient alternatives, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and implementing heat recovery strategies.
