1. RFP NOTICE Request for Proposals – Procurement Notice Nutrition International, a non-profit agency dedicated to eliminating vitamin and mineral deficiencies worldwide, invites proposals from competent Organizations or Agencies as “Consultancy for documentation of program processes of elevating quality nutrition services across the first 1,000 days in Nadiad Urban Block in Gujarat, India” The submission deadline for proposals is Monday, January 22, 2024, EOD. 2. INTRODUCTION TO THE RFP 2.1 Nutrition International (NI) is a global leader in finding and scaling solutions to malnutrition through coverage, leverage, and influence and strives to transform the lives of vulnerable people, especially women, adolescent girls, and children, by improving their nutritional status thereby reduce mortality, anemia, birth defects, low birth weight and stunting. NI implement these interventions with local governments and other partners across a number of high-burden countries in Africa and Asia. NI works in India through its Country Office in New Delhi with State Offices in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Nutrition International is going to hire the services of an agency to conduct the activities mentioned in the scope of work. 2.2.This Request for Proposals (RFP) and particularly the Guidelines for Preparing Proposals that follow, are designed to help Respondents to produce proposals that are acceptable to NI and to ensure that all proposals are given equal consideration. It is essential, therefore, that Respondents provide the complete information that is requested, and in the formats and on the terms specified. 3. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS 3.1.These instructions should be read in conjunction with information contained in the enclosed Terms of Reference (TOR), and in any accompanying documents within this package. This Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide NI with relevant information to “Consultancy for documentation of program processes of elevating quality nutrition services across the first 1,000 days in Nadiad Urban Block in Gujarat, India”. NI is not bound to accept the lowest priced, or any, proposal. NI reserves the right to request any (or all) Respondent(s) to meet with NI to clarify their proposal(s) without commitment, and to publish on its website answers to any questions raised by any Respondent (without identifying that Respondent). 3.2.Respondents are responsible for all costs associated with proposal preparation and associated work. 3.3.Respondents are requested to read through the sample of consulting agreement template used by NI while doing contracting with the agency for the assignment (a different template may be used with other business entities based on their status of business registration), attached as annexure 2 and state in the proposal, any clause which they might have a concern in accepting as stated in the template. Quarterly payments are released on achievement of deliverables / milestone on actual expense incurred by the agency (reimbursement model). 3.4.NI shall conduct periodic review of the tasks assigned and financial audit to assess the overall performance of the tasks assigned to the agency, at NI’s own cost. The technical and financial proposal along with all requisite documentation must be received in English by NI no later thanMonday, January 22, 2024, EOD.
