Tdh Foundation in India has been registered since 2008 as a Liaison Office and it has provided technical guidance and support to government structures and civil society organizations to defend and promote children’s rights. Tdh’s main programme priorities in India are Unsafe Migration, Maternal and Child health, WASH and Emergency response. Tdh’s office in India is in Kolkata; and project interventions currently cover the states of Jharkhand and West Bengal. In 2021, through projects and together with local NGO partners, Tdh has reached more than 179,407 beneficiaries, including vulnerable children and their families
About the Project
The IeDA application comprises of 3 modules; namely – eIMNCI, Supportive Supervision and Help Desk. While the eIMNCI module is used by the Healthcare Workers – viz. Medical Officers (MO), Auxiliary Nurse and Midwifes (ANMs) and Community Health Officers (CHOs) for classification and treatment of children under 5 as per the IMNCI guidelines, the Supportive Supervision Module is used by the Project Management and NHM Teams for continuous monitoring of the performance of the healthcare workers and of the facilities. The help-desk module is for providing support to the users.
The application is developed on the CommCare opensource platform.
The eIMNCI module helps in registration, classification, identification of treatment, follow-up, referral of sick children. It also captures the immunization status of a child and prompts the healthcare worker on vaccination becoming due for a child registered under IeDA.
The “Monitoring System Gateway” envisaged, will be a platform for real time data visualization and analysis of the data generated by the application for timely decision making. The “Monitoring System Gateway” will fetch data from the database of the IeDA application and provide real time analyzed reports and trends to stakeholders at various levels.
Scope of Work for the Monitoring System Gateway Platform
Develop and host the Monitoring System Gateway Platform integrated with IeDA with maintenance support.
The agency is required to develop the technology platform “Monitoring System Gateway” to real time visualization and analysis of the child demography, health status, nutrition status, immunization status, counselling status, ANM performance and supportive supervision data collected through the IeDA initiative.
The intended “Monitoring System Gateway” is to integrate with the IeDA, built on the opensource CommCare platform and fetch data display it to programme managers and government officials at various levels (National, State, District, Block, CHO, ANM, Supervisor and Facility) though interactive dashboard, standard reports, and query builder reports.
Key Features of “Monitoring System Gateway”
User Access: This Monitoring System Gateway will be available to multiple users at various levels according to data access permissions and roles.
Real time Data- Integration with IeDA to ensure availability of real time data.
Indicator Dictionary:Calculate theindicators as per the list and formula finalized in consultation with Tdh project team and any other partners agency as defined by Tdh.
Dashboard: An interactive dashboard that provides a summary of the progress on selected data elements and indicators
There will be approximately 10-12 items display zones for graphs and charts on the dashboard.
User can design the graphs and charts with the data or indictors of his/er own choice and pin it/ publish it to the Dashboard.
Display of indicators on maps up to block level.
