Scope of Work for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Background EngenderHealth envisions a gender-equal world where all people achieve their sexual and reproductive health and rights. To help achieve this vision, our mission is to implement high-quality, gender equitable programs that advance sextual and reproductive health and rights. Our work is grounded in our five core values of reflection, inclusion, integrity, respect, and transformation. Currently, EngenderHealth India has 40 number of staff, and these staff are assigned across various development projects including emergency project in different parts of the country. Presently, our staffs are located at Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, If new projects are secured there will be a possibility that we will expand to other parts of the country. Objectives Employees experience situations that affect their physical and mental health, social relations, and their general well-being. EngenderHealth recognizes this and as a result is trying to introduce Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help all employees be more successful at meeting their responsibilities at home and at work. Thus, Counselling on a variety of topics will be available to you and those close to you, such as your partner or a family member. Scope The Employee Assistance Program can provide support on a wide range of work and personal issues with the following as the major areas to be considered. Workplace Support: counseling to help employees manage work-related stress and burnout, conflicts with colleagues, performance issues, work-life balance, and adjusting to changes in the workplace. Personal and Family Issues: assistance on a range of personal and family-related challenges, including midlife and life transitions, relationship problems, domestic violence, parenting, and step-parenting issues. Mental Health Support: counseling for mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, stress management, anger management, and low self-esteem for employees and their immediate family. Substance Abuse Support: counselling for alcohol or drug addiction for both employees and family members dealing with addiction. Health and Caregiving Support: support to employees who are managing a disability or medical issue or have an ill or elderly loved one who needs care. Legal and family advice – marriage counseling, divorce, or child custody issues. Financial counseling – gambling, bankruptcy, paying debt, or creating a working budget. Grief and Loss Support: support to employees who are dealing with the loss of a loved one or the loss of a co-worker or a major event like an accident at work. Personal Development: support for improving relationships, parenting skills, managing stress, managing life changes, improving esteem and confidence, pursuing personal interests, maintaining physical health, and career success. Deliverables. Employees can be reached personally and can be contacted for the support service via telephone, texting, emailing and on-line chat. Schedule. The service provider will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. At any time of the day or night, weekends, and over holidays, you will be able to speak with one of their professionals. You will be offered 3 counseling sessions per issue, per year. Confidentiality Although EngenderHealth will receive utilization statistics on the number of people using the service and the issues that were raised, no personal, identifying information will be disclosed. No one at EngenderHealth required to know that an employee who has called.
