John Snow India Private Limited (JSIPL) is a subsidiary of John Snow, Inc. (JSI), a health care consulting and research organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities in the U.S. and around the world. In India, JSIPL implements and manages several public health projects in the areas of maternal, child and new-born health; supply chain logistics; immunization; and HIV.
JSIPL invites proposals for “Hiring of an Agency/Firm for Providing Pan India Taxi Services” for a period of 1 (One) year w.e.f 1st July, 2023 to 30th June, 2024. The empanelment may be extended or reduced for a period decided by JSIPL, at the discretion of JSIPL, based on the firm’s performance.
The criteria and actual process of evaluation of the responses to this RFP and subsequent selection of the firm(s) will be as mentioned in this RFP and any modification or changes to the terms and conditions mentioned in this RFP will be entirely at discretion of JSIPL.
No contractual obligation whatsoever shall arise from this Request for Proposal (RFP) process unless and until a formal contract is signed and executed by duly authorized official(s) of JSIPL with the selected firm(s). JSIPL reserves the rights to empanel more than one firm.
The content of this RFP enlists the requirements of the JSIPL. It includes the Empanelment Terms which details out all that may be needed by the firms to understand the terms and the empanelment process and explain the contractual terms that the JSIPL wishes to specify at this stage.
Interested agencies are advised to study this RFP document carefully before submitting their proposals in response to the RFP. Submission of a proposal in response to this RFP shall be deemed to have been done after careful study and examination of this document with full understanding of its terms, conditions and implications.

JSIPL is committed to the highest standards of ethics and integrity in procurement. JSIPL has zero tolerance for fraud and strictly prohibits bribes, kick-backs, gratuities, and any other gifts in-kind or in monetary form. JSIPL also strictly prohibits collusion (bid rigging) between vendors and between vendors and JSIPL staff. JSIPL selects vendors purely on merit and will only engage vendors who demonstrate strong business ethics. Vendors must not participate in bid-rigging or attempt to offer any fee, commission, gift, gratuity or any compensation in-kind or in monetary form to JSIPL employees. Vendors who do so will be disqualified from doing business with JSIPL. Additionally, JSIPL has a conflict-of-interest policy that requires staff to disclose when there is a potential conflict of interest due to the staff- member’s relationship with a vendor, and if necessary, to refrain from participation in a procurement involving that vendor.
