Description | RFP from Reputed Agencies / Individual to Conduct a Project Evaluation for the Project implemented in Assam, India supported by BMZ. terre des hommes Germany terre des hommes (tdh) Germany, an international children's rights organization, has been implementing the project titled “Strengthening resilience: sustainable adaptation to climate change in flood-affected areas of Assam through multisectoral prevention and adaptation mechanisms and advocacy” with its implementation partners. The project is being implemented in two districts (Lakhimpur and Majuli) of Assam state. The project aims at building the resilience of community and sustainable adaptation to climate change for the flood affected communities in Assam. The overall aim of the project evaluation is to review the project’s performance, achievements, and challenges. It shall also analyse the overall results of the project regarding the OECD-DAC criteria (relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability). In doing so, it shall provide lessons learned about the project's design, implementation, and management and identify components that were beneficial or harmful to achieving the project’s objectives. The duration of the consultancy is 31 days and is expected to be finalised by 10thMarch 2024. Please submit the following totdhgip2021@gmail.comby4.02.2024. Interested agencies and independent consultants need to send their Technical and Financial Proposal along with the CVs (maximum 3 pages) of team members, to:tdhgip2021@gmail.com The organisation/ an individual should have at least 10 years of experience conducting research, evaluating, and writing reports of similar nature in English, preferably on the issues of disaster preparedness, climate change adaptation, alternate agri-allied livelihood. At least one of the team members should be proficient in Hindi. The last date of receipt of proposals, along with a sample write-up of the previous work done, is on 04.02.2024. Proposals submitted after the last date or incomplete proposals will be rejected. Only shortlisted agencies or individuals will be contacted for further selection. |
