| Description | RFP from Reputed Agencies/Consultants to Conduct an External Evaluation for a project being supported by BMZ (German Ministry of Economic Cooperation) in Sunderbans. terre des hommes Germany terre des hommes (tdh) Germany, an international children's rights organisation,is supporting a project titled: “IKU_NEWS_Empowered: Climate resilient communities in Sundarbans are economically, ecologically and politically strengthened and are committed to address the consequence of climate change”; the project is co-financed by BMZ and is being implemented by the organization Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS) in 3 community development blocks in the Sundarbans, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, with the chief objective of building resilience against climate change of the target groups living in the islands of the Sundarbans and to strengthen their contribution to environmental protection. The project has completed 30 months and is expected to continue for a further 12 months. A mid-term project evaluation will be conducted to review the project’s progress, performance, achievements and challenges and to provide a full and objective feedback to terre des hommes Germany, BMZ, the partner organization, and all involved stakeholders using the OECD DAC criteria – relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. The duration of the consultancy is for25days and is expected to be finalised by20-03- 2024. Interested individual/agencies need to send their Technical and Financial Proposal along with the CVs of her/his team members to:tdhgip2021@gmail.com. The individual/organisation should have at least 8 years of experience in conducting research/evaluation, report writing of similar nature of studies preferably on the issues of climate change, environmental sciences, climatology or related fields. The last date of the receipt of proposals along with a sample write up of the previous work done is on04.02.2024. Proposals submitted after the last date/ incomplete proposals will be rejected. Only shortlisted agencies will be contacted for further selection process. |
