REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Procurement of Tablets under Project AHANA of Plan International (India Chapter). RFP No: RFP_004_2023 Issued on: 22.04.2023 1. ABOUT PLAN INTERNATIONAL (INDIA CHAPTER) Plan International (India Chapter) is a nationally registered not-for-profit organization striving to advance children’s rights and equality for girls, thus creating a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable and excluded children and their communities. Since 1979, Plan International (India Chapter) and its partners have improved the lives of millions of children and young people by enabling them access to protection, quality education and healthcare services, a healthy environment, livelihood opportunities and participation in decisions that affect their lives. Plan International (India Chapter) is a member of the Plan International Federation, an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. Plan International is active in more than 75 countries. Plan International (India Chapter) has one country office and a presence in 24 states. Plan International (India Chapter) is the key partner with NITI Ayog. In February 2019, NITI Ayog has signed a Statement of Intent for partnering with Plan International (India Chapter) to collaborate and improve the status of Health & Nutrition on 21 Key Performance Indicators across seven aspirational districts. 2. PROJECT OVERVIEW Project AHANA focuses on increasing PMTCT service uptake among pregnant women complementing Govt. of India’s AIDS response through national AIDS control programme. During first phase of the project (October, 2015 to December, 2017) the project focused on improving PPTCT access in 218 high priority districts of 9 states in the public sector. During second phase (January, 2018 to March, 2021) the project was implemented to cover 357 districts in 14 states Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura and the intervention covered both public and private sector. Presently in Phase -III of the project (April, 21 to March, 24), AHANA project is being implemented in 13 states Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. The project focus to expand HIV testing services to saturate all pregnant women with HIV testing, link with ART and retention to treatment and provide holistic care, support services to the pregnant women found to be HIV positive, HIV exposed infants and the family through 18 months after the birth of the baby to complete the PPTCT cascade. 3. PURPOSE OF THE RFP To identify, evaluate and select competitive supplier for supplying and delivery of tablets to identified locations under AHANA Project of Plan International (India Chapter). 4. LETTER OF INVITATION Plan International (India Chapter) is inviting SEALED Bids for the procurement of Tablets from the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)/OEM Authorized Distributors or Dealers. Interested Bidders may obtain further information or get clarification about RFP from Procurement Department of Plan International (India Chapter) by writing to procurement@planindia.org. The RFP will be advertised on www.devnetjobsindia.org. The bid will be rejected if the Bidder changes any clause or annexures of the proposal document. A. Interested Bidders are requested to submit their Technical (Companies Profile, Turn Over, Client Served etc.) and Financial (best price as per right specification) Bid package in sealed envelopes (Separately for Financial & Technical) duly filled, signed and stamped latest by 28th April 2023 at address mentioned here below: - Kind Attention: Procurement Department. It shall remain Bidder’s responsibility to ensure that Bid reaches on the above-mentioned address on or before the deadline. Bid received after the submission deadline for whatever the reason maybe, shall not be considered for evaluation. C. Any delay in Bidder’s response shall not be used as a reason for extending the deadline for submission, unless Plan International (India Chapter) determines that such an extension is necessary and communicates a new deadline to the Bidders.
