Project Background Plan India has been implementing EK Pehal Mobile Health Unit project supported by CBRE in Hyderabad and Greater Noida that caters to the primary health care needs of the construction workers and their families with preventive, curative and promotive health services in convergence with the community level health workers, PHCs, CHCs and District health department and functionaries. Interventions in the last phase have identified the health needs of the construction workers, their families and people residing in nearby hutments which are diverse and complex, with many people struggling with communicable and non-communicable diseases, malnutrition, and inadequate access to basic healthcare services.
