Description - Description: The Nakusp Hot Springs were built in 1974 and have not been substantially changed since then. The current diesel boiler is at the end of its service life. This RFP is for upgrading the boiler to a liquid-to-liquid heat pump. The heat pum p should use the hot springs water as its source and tie into the existing domestic hot water plumbing and the radiant floor heating. The Nakusp Hot Springs has a natural source of hot water. It flows in the building at about 150 LPM at a range of 32C – 47C depending on the point in the plumbing.There is a circulation loop of 50mm pipe from the hot springs water exit tank to the mechanical room. It currently feeds a heat exchanger that pre-warm
