Description - Description: The National Physical Laboratory [NPL] requirement is for GC-PDHID for Trace Amount of Inert Gases AnalysisThe current objective of the new instrument is to perform faster and better measurement using state of the art separation and anal ysis. The new instrument should improve the limit of detection from 300 nmol/mol level, to 10 nmol/mol, and rapid separation of oxygen, nitrogen and argon from 15 minutes down to 10 minutes (with a better resolution).Therefore, the purchase of GC-PDHID instrument will solve challenges and provide opportunity in this growing area:- expand capacity: the GC-PDHID will allow to expand existing and novel areas (ultra-low concentration of inert gases)
