Description - Description: This project maintains native surface roads on the Missoula, Ninemile and Seeley Ranger Districts of the Lolo National Forest. Road maintenance blading utilizes a motorized grader machine to perform fine grading operations, or “blading ”, on unpaved forest roads. Blading includes cutting, blending, spreading, reshaping, finishing, and compacting. Surface maintenance also includes drainage maintenance, ditch pulling or heeling, removal of slough/slide material, debris removal, and blow-down removal.
