Description - Description: Headquarters, US Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI), has a requirement for roundhouse roof truss system repair/strengthening at Iowa Army Ammunition Plant (IAAAP). This project will remove all broken truss members throughout Building 400-138 and replace them with new, like-type, wood material. Contractor is required to provide structural shoring from the concrete slab floor to temporarily support the existing trusses while select members are removed and replaced, select bolted connections reworked, and select truss members strengthened. It is anticipated that this procurement will result in an award to American Ordnance LLC who is the Operating Contractor at IAAAP.
