Description - Description: The Township of Scugog is seeking bids from qualified contractors for suction dredging and creation of a wetland in Lake Scugog.The Lake Scugog Enhancement Project is an environmental and recreational improvement project for Port Perry B ay. The main components include: an engineered berm with a trail and pedestrian bridge; a prescribed are for suction dredging; dewatering and offsite disposal of some dredged material; and a constructed wetland using the dredged material with various habitat features. This contract pertains to the section dredging; dewatering and offsite disposal of some dredged material; and building of a constructed wetland using the remaining dredged material.
