Description - the presence on mainland French territory of the three major predators, the bear, the lynx and the wolf, is the cause of damage to domestic herds. The ministry in charge of the environment compensates the breeders who suffer them. An application call ed Géopred has been deployed since February 2023 to - carry out damage reports, - examine compensation requests based on the reports, before payment of the compensation files.
