Description - Description: PROJECT OVERVIEWa) Project Background - The Sheerness Deadfish Water Supply System, which is owned and operated by the Government of Alberta, provides critical regional water supply for irrigation, livestock, and domestic water supply to over 12,000 acres of agricultural land in the Special Areas. The system consists of a pumphouse, two canal conveyance systems, four dams and reservoirs, a pipeline, and various canal structures including numerous private turnouts.
