Description - Description: The museum is devoted to inspiring visitors through ideas that change the world, from the Industrial Revolution to today and beyond. The site houses four listed buildings; two of them Grade I Listed - the Station building, the original t erminus of the world's first inter-city railway, and the 1830 Warehouse. We combine the distinctive appeal of the historic site with a vibrant contemporary science programme, making connections between the past and the present, between scientific theory and real-world applications.Building on the overwhelming success of the previous exhibition Operation Ouch!
