Description - Description: NASA/KSC has a requirement for a Liquid Helium (LHe) Pump at the Convertor Compressor Facility (CCF), K7-0468, building. NASA/KSC intends to purchase a one year lease from Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APCI). The period of performanc e will commence on October 1, 2024 and end on Sept 30, 2025. APCI is the only known supplier of a proven operational high pressure LHe pump that can support the flow and pressure requirements needed at the CCF. APCI is the only experienced contractor who has satisfactorily supplied and maintained equipment of this type required for the needed operational support.
