Description - Description: DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH (DFS), based in Langen, Hesse, is responsible for air traffic control in Germany. To this end, it operates a comprehensive infrastructure for positioning, navigation and radio as well as radar control cent ers and control towers at the airports and is a consumer of electricity at the corresponding locations.The DFS's electricity consumption is distributed across around 350 delivery points with utility meters. Of these, just over half of the meters at the airports are located in 16 so-called closed distribution networks or customer systems. The remaining meters outside the airports are distributed across another 60 general supply networks nationwide
