Description - Description: The purpose of this RFP is to identify organizations to implement SNAP-Ed strategies. The federal SNAP-Ed guidance calls for strategies that address nutrition and physical activity and include a combination of education accompanied by en vironmental supports designed to facilitate voluntary adoption of healthy food choices and active lifestyles for SNAP-Ed eligible people. It requires SNAP-Ed programs use evidence-based or best-practice informed, behaviorally focused interventions that maximize impact by focusing on the Core Indicators below, and, when possible, that combine direct education interventions with environmental, policy, and/or social marketing strategies.local title:
