Description - Description: The new Integration Act came into effect on 1 January 2022. The municipalities want to use the new system to increase the chances of status holders to participate in society quickly and fully. Since 1 January 2022, all status holders in the municipality of Midden-Drenthe have been offered a timely and appropriate integration programme in which learning the language is combined with participation, so that they can participate fully in society as quickly as possible. At present, an average of 70 status holders come to live in our municipality each year. The social support lasts at least 18 months.
