Description - Description: The municipality of Zaanstad wishes to conclude an agreement for the implementation of specialist ecological (mowing) management. The agreement starts on 15 March 2025 and runs until 31 December 2026. After this, it is possible to extend the agreement by 3 times 2 years. The objectives of the assignment are: a. Mowing grass and reed vegetation; b. pruning landscape plantings; c. monitoring and reporting ecological situations; d activities within the framework of the Environmental Act (Nature Conservation Act). The assignment mainly consists of mowing vulnerable herb vegetation and pruning activities in the municipality of Zaanstad. The focus of this assignment is the Jagersveld.
