Description - Description: The Laeiszhalle, donated by the shipping couple Carl and Sophie Laeis, was built in the neo-baroque style and inaugurated in 1908 as the largest and most modern concert hall in Germany. Alongside the Elbphilharmonie, the Laeiszhalle is n ow the most important building for classical music performances in Hamburg. The client has been carrying out extensive construction work in the Laeiszhalle since 2022 to ensure the smooth, safe operation of the building in the future.As part of the measure described here, mechanical engineering is to be installed in the Great Hall and the Small Hall.In the Great Hall, chain hoists are to be permanently installed at 14 existing suspension points.
