Description - Description: The Volpe Center provides support to the USAF. There are 73 Air Force Air Traffic Control Towers operating Standard Terminal Automation Replacement Systems (STARS) which will be converted from analog to digital video display signaling. I t is anticipated that 62 facilities will be CONUS, and 11 facilities will be OCONUS. The Volpe Center requires a contractor to provide skilled professionals who have worked in Air Traffic Control Environment. The personnel will be required to relocate/install electronic equipment, provide/install fiber from equipment room to the cab, install cables/equipment in the cab, and assist in video testing new fiber and equipment.
