Description - Description: BACKGROUND INFORMATIONIn 2020, the Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) has developed a derivative product of the Southeastern Asia-Oceania Flash Flood Guidance (SAOFFG) system which is presented in the form of a Bulletin. This Bulletin product contains maps of various SAOFFG parameters that can be used to quickly determine the potential for flash flood in an area. This product has been implemented operationally at BMKG with the distribution based on provinces in Indonesia and under implementation for the Central America Flash Flood Guidance System (CAFFGS) and the Haiti and Dominican Republic Flash Flood Guidance System (HDRFFGS).
