Description - Description: In order to monitor and optimize traffic safety and to enforce the urban traffic regime, the city of Biel monitors rolling traffic throughout the city using traffic monitoring systems, based on federal and cantonal legal provisions and o n the basis of the concession granted by the canton of Bern.At currently 22 locations, stationary speed measurements are periodically taken and traffic lights (red lights) are monitored.
