Re-Tender Notice- Poultry Processing Plant
Kudumbashree Broiler Farmers Producer Company Limited (KBFPCL) invites application from companies across Kerala with functional poultry processing plants and related facilities with a processing capacity of minimum 500 birds per hour for processing and packaging of broiler birds reared at KBFPCL farms across the state Interested agencies meeting the requirements proposed in the notice shall send the technical bid and financial bid forms along with copies of all relevant documents to The Chairman and Managing Director, Kudumbashree Broiler Farmers Producer Company Ltd, Kudumbashree State Mission, 2nJ Floor, TRIDA Rehabilitation Building, Medical College P.O. Thiriivananthapurain -695011 on or before 11.04.2023, 5.00 pm. The financial bids of those who qualify in the technical evaluation will be opened. The financial bid should be enclosed separately in a cover inside the envelope. The envelope should be superscribed with "Tender for poultry processing plant”. Scope of work (include but not limited to the follow ing)
• The agency shall carry out the entire range of processing operations from unloading and shackling to packing and storage, provide labor requirements, waste management, transportation of processed products till the selected Kerala chicken sales outlets and selected supermarkets.
• The processing facility should abide by the criteria mentioned in annexure II
Requirenients/scope of supply
• Poultry' processing facility of minimum 500BPH processing capacity
• Labour for carrying out slaughter operations
• Own rendering plant/ scientific waste management system
• Reefer van facility
• Cold storage facility (-18°C with min 10 Tonnes storage capacity)
• Effluent treatment plant
• The machineries and facilities offered should be in perfect working condition
• The processing operations shall be carried out as per requirement of KBFPCL The processing facility should be available for processing of KBFPCL birds for a minimum period of two days/ week. There may be deviations in the requirement depending on the demand of the processed meat.
• The processing plant should be functional at the time of applying for providing the sendee
• BY KBFPCL: broiler birds, packaging material, transportation of live birds upto processing facility

1 Raw material : Broiler birds
2. Livebird weight : Minimum 1500gram Average 2000gram Maximum 2500gram
3. Capacity of processing plant: Minimum 500 BPH expandable up to 2000 BPH.
4. Bleedingtime : Approx. 180seconds
5. Scaldingtime : Approx. lOOseconds
6. Powersupply : 415V/50Hz, neutral and earth
7. Final product : processed whole broiler birds with/without skin, curry cuts, specialty cuts.
Company Profile
• The company should have registered office in India.
• Should have at least 3 years of experience in the field of poultry processing. The company should submit the relevant documents to prove their experience.
• The applicant should have valid license issued by FSSA1 and Kerala State Pollution Control Board and Local Self Government Department.
