TENDER FORM FOR SUPPLY OF STATIONERY ARTICLES PART-I Terms and Conditions: O1. List of stationery articles to be supplied to High Court of Gujarat for the period from 01/04/2023 to 31/03/2024 is PART-II hereto. 02. The sealed tenders will be received by the High Court till 3:00 p-m. on 12.04.2093. 03. The envelope containing tender document should be superscribed with the words “SUPPLY OF STATIONERY ARTICLES 2023-2024”. The said cover containing Tender document with Earnest Money Deposit for Rs.25,000/- and Tender Fee for Rs.500/- (Pay Order / Bankers! Cheque) should be personally dropped in the drop box kept in the chamber of Registrar (Inspection & Finance) after registration in the Central Tapal Registry of the office. O04. The tenders will be opened on the same day i.e. 12.04.2023, after 3:00 p.m. in presence of those tenderers who may remain present in the chamber of Registrar (Inspection & Finance). [Rates will not be disclosed.] 05. The tender received after scheduled date and time for any reason will not be considered. The tender form should be filled legibly in English. 06. Tender document in prescribed format issued by the High Court is only required to be submitted otherwise tender shall be liable for rejection. 07. Tender once filled in and submitted shall not be allowed to be withdrawn till the validity of the tender for acceptance remains in force or else the EMD shall be liable for forfeiture. 08. Along with the tender documents, the tenderer should submit attested copy of certificate as to past experience, Income Tax Clearance, GST Registration and Solvency Certificate from a Scheduled Bank. O9. The Registry does not guarantee procurement of a certain quantity of any articles of stationery during the period of contract. 10. Each tender shall be accompanied by earnest money deposit and tender fee by way of separate demand draft for Rs. 25,000/- and Rs. 500/- (Non-Refundable) respectively, both drawn in favour of “The Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, Ahmedabad” payable at the State Bank of India, High Court Complex Branch, Ahmedabad. The tenders not accompanied by the earnest money deposit and tender fee shall not be considered. 11. The price approved for each article of stationery shall be treated as the "RATE FOR ANNUAL RATE CONTRACT 2023-2024". The rate should be Excluding “GST (as applicable from time to time) and all other applicable taxes. 12. The tenderer must submit attested Xerox copy of GST certificate of _ his firm. The tender having condition(s) that the rates valid up to particular period / date and there after subject to confirmation etc. will also stand disqualified and will not be accepted. 13. The liability as to any damages and / or loss otherwise to any movable or immovable properties, assets during loading, unloading or otherwise during the period of supply, whether knowingly or unknowingly done or occurred shall be made good forthwith to the High Court by the awarded agency upon a communication. 14. The earnest money deposit of those unsuccessful tenderers shall be returned after finalization of tender process. 15. Every successful tenderer will have to furnish security deposit of Rs. 25,000/- which shall be returned, without any interest, on expiry of the terms of the contract. 16. The amount of security deposit shall stand forfeited in case of failure on the part of the Vendors to supply any stationery article within 07 days from the date of Purchase Order placed by the Registry from time to time . 17 In case, the successful tenderer fails to supply any Stationery Articles within 07 days from the date of Purchase Order, the Registry may place the Purchase Order to the Second Lowest Tenderer. 18 Supply of the article indented for shall be made within seven days from the date of issue of supply order with the bill for the same in duplicate. The payment shall be made to the Vendors on availability of the grant from the Government. 19 The material/article supplied during the term of the contract shall be in conformity with the quantity and the quality/Sample/Brand specified in the tender document. Any article found defective in quality and deficient in quantity shall be returned to the supplier for immediate replacement and in case of failure to do so, the contract will be terminated and the Security Deposit shall be forfeited. Over-writing, over-typing or erasing of the figures are not allowed and shall render the tender invalid. The High Court reserves all rights to accept any one or more or reject all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. All the Tenderers are hereby directed to quote the rates of Stationery Articles only as per the Brand specified by the High Court of Gujarat.
